January 8, 2026 — The Southlake Style reports students from Carroll Senior High School have advanced to the Top 32 teams worldwide in the 25th annual International Public Policy Forum (IPPF), a global debate competition sponsored by the Brewer Foundation and New York University.
The Carroll Senior team returns to the international field after winning last year’s Brewer Cup and earning the IPPF

World Champion title. Amber Lin also received the John E. Sexton Award for Best Speaker in the prior competition. The 2025–26 IPPF drew a record 332 teams from 39 countries, and Carroll Senior remains in contention for an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City and the competition’s $10,000 grand prize as the field narrows toward the Elite Eight oral debates next spring.

This is a great achievement for the Southlake Carroll team — advancing to the top 32 worldwide is no small feat. It shows how hard work, preparation, and confidence pay off in competitive debate. I love seeing young people shine on a global stage like this. The way the team presents their cases reminds me of how important presentation is in everything, even in something creative like book cover design UAE, where first impressions matter a lot.
This achievement by the Carroll Senior Debate Team is truly inspiring and shows how dedication, preparation, and teamwork can lead to global recognition. Reaching the IPPF Top 32 worldwide reflects not only strong debating skills but also confidence and leadership developed through consistent effort. Stories like this motivate students to aim higher and take pride in representing their schools on an international stage. Celebrating milestones with meaningful symbols can further strengthen team spirit, whether through certificates, events, or even cheap Lapel Trading Pins that mark the journey and hard work behind such success. Moments like these deserve to be remembered and shared.
