The IPPF is pleased to announce the release of the 2026-27 IPPF Topic Primer, written by Dr. Matthew Munday, director of debate at The Westminster Schools.

 

The IPPF Topic Primer is a valuable tool that helps introduce teams to various research on this year's topic, "Resolved: The United Nations should prioritize protecting the rights of women and girls over respecting state sovereignty."

It is important to remember, however, that the IPPF Topic Primer does not represent an official declaration of the scope or intent of the topic. 

 

In other words, independent research is highly recommended and valued by the judges!
